LeRoy J. Louden was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Alliance. He is a graduate of St. Agnes Academy, in Alliance and attended Nebraska State Trade School in Milford, Nebraska. Louden married SharonAnn Green, on March 27, 1999. He has six children: Lynn, Bryan, Dalene, Jon, Jennifer and David. Louden is a Rancher and has been a National Weather Service observer for more than 35 years. He was elected Nebraska State Senator for the 49th District, November 7, 2002. He organized the Sandhills
Independent Collection Membership Association
and is a member of the Nebraska
Cattlemen; Elks Club; Fraternal Order of Eagles; Ellsworth Bowling Club;
District 3
board of directors, Panhandle Rural Electric Membership Association for nine
years; Nebraska Rural Electric Association and is a former member of the Sheridan County School Reorganization Board; secretary,
District 119 School Board at Ellsworth for 30 years; past President of the Area 11 Nebraska Stockgrower’s
Association, 1986. Louden is a charter member of the Ellsworth
Bowling Club. |
